Who knew that decades of working in Operations combined with eight years of teaching would lend itself to owning and managing a bakery in historic downtown Grass Valley? With a mixture of enthusiasm and a love for organization and processes Christine welcomes each customer to Cake Bakery & Cafe as if they were entering her home. Along with her husband Phil, they've created a family of employees who offer European tasting coffee, pastries and desserts as well as savory sandwiches, salads, soups and quiches.
